Equine Myo-manipulative Functional Therapy (EMFT)

Myo-manipulative Functional Therapy is a form of sports massage that rather than just focusing on the massage techniques, it also addresses physical therapies and exercises and can further improve the horse's function and ability to perform at an optimal level.

Equine Kinesiology Taping

​

Kinesiology tape is an athletic tape designed to stretch with the body without restricting motion. Kinesiology Tape stretches allowing it to provide support during exercise without restricting motion. When applied correctly Kinesiology Taping decompresses the skin & interacts with the neurosensory receptors, which results in decreased pain, increased blood flow & dynamic support of muscles & joints. This can be used alone or in conjunction with EMFT.

Temporary Grazing 

​

We have space available for temporary grazers, either for those passing through, competing in the area, requiring holiday care or injury rehabilitation. $15 per night (hay and hard feed extra). Stabled $30.

Rebandaging, giving medication and body work additional extra.

* Tinkerbelle - available for adoption through HUHA here on foster, Kaimanawa X, 6 year old mare, unbroken to saddle. Needs experienced confident home.
